Here's why glyphs may slip outside of your text boxes

So sometimes, even though your font's Ascender line is above all capital letters, your text may end up sliding above the text area:

Illustrator fix

It turns out that Illustrator's text baseline is automatically defined by the height of the lowercase character d - and this is a default parameter... (more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/creating-text.html#manage_the_text_area)

To fix this, just select your text block and got to the menu Type > Area Type Options and pick Cap Height or a Fixed value.

InDesign fix

To fix this, just select your text block and got to the menu Object > Text Frame Options > Baseline Options and pick Cap Height or a Fixed value.
