Ever experience a nasty AI crash when importing vector artwork from Illustrator into Fontself Maker?

This can happen in rare cases (due to grouped empty path objects) and can be fixed by running the command Object > Path > Clean Up and checking Stray Points.

This is unfortunately due to an old Illustrator bug that Fontself Maker cannot solve for now, so this is the only way forward:
