This is the first time since our launch 10 years ago that we are introducing a paid update, and we do not plan to introduce additional paid updates.
Compatibility
Photoshop 2025 or a more recent version (version 26.0.0+) is required to run the UXP plugin Fontself Maker for Photoshop.
Both Mac & Windows are supported:
On Mac, both Apple Silicon and Intel processors are supported
On Windows, only x86 CPUs are supported (no ARM)
Older versions of Photoshop (2015.3 to 2026) can still support the legacy Fontself CEP extension.
Troubleshooting
"UPIA tool UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent is missing"
Enterprise, Team and Educational Adobe users must request from their IT administrators to enable Allow end users to install and update plugins from the Creative Cloud desktop app from their dashboard.
Migration
To stop Photoshop from running in Rosetta mode and instead run it natively at full speed on Apple Silicon (ARM) processors:
Quit Photoshop if it's open.
Open Finder β go to Applications.
Find the specific Adobe Photoshop.app version.
Right-click β Get Info.
In the Info window, uncheck:
β"Open using Rosetta"Close the Info window.
Re-open Photoshop.
If that checkbox is not there, then:
You are already running the Apple Silicon (ARM) version.
Or you installed only the Intel version. In that case, reinstall via Creative Cloud:
Open Adobe Creative Cloud
Go to Apps
Next to Photoshop, select β’β’β’ β Other versions
Install the version with β(Apple Silicon)β in release notes (often automatic in newest versions).
