What is this?
The Widget Maker allows you to post eye-catching messages to your websites and blogs. You can manually embed messages and post them directly to the Internet.
How does it work?
Creating a Fontself message with Widget Maker is simple:
- Write your message
- Pick a font from the Font list and customise the look of your message
- Copy and paste the HTML code manually into your web pages and blog
Overview of the interface and toolbar
Writing a message and choosing a font
Type your text in the editor, and roll over the Font List button (top left) to preview and choose from the gallery of illustrated fonts.

Some of these fonts have additional smileys, illustrated words and pictograms that you can use to jazz up your messages. See the complete list of illustrated symbols and their shortcuts here.
Here’s what you get when writing your message.

Copy the code generated by your message
Once your message looks exactly the way you like, click on “Copy code”. By clicking on this button you are ready to embed the HTML code generated by your message into your website and blog.

Paste your code into any HTML editor
Go back to your website/blog, open an HTML editor and paste the code into it.
Note:
Make sure you put your HTML code into an HTML editor. If you paste this code into a plain text editor, your message won’t be rendered properly. In the example below, you can see that the HTML editor has been activated from the CMS. If you have a blog, use an HTML box.

Tips about the code
Once you have put your code into an HTML editor, you can still modify the way your message looks. In concrete terms, you can still modify the size of the font and the message itself.
To modify the size of the font, just change the number you find in the “style” tag. In the example below, we have the number “50″. You can pick any size you want between “18″ and “50″. To do it, just change the number by an another that fits better.

You can also change your message at any time from the HTML editor. Check out the blue area to see where you can change your message.
